We are very proud of TS student Kate Farmer, who last week shaved her long hair off for The Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.
Kate says "As you probably all know, I really don't like having long hair and so growing it out has been a big challenge for me. Whenever I hear about someone I know being diagnosed with cancer, my heart breaks and I would like to do everything that I can to help them. Cancer is a horrible disease, causing suffering and heartache for lots of people and I hope that one day we can put a stop to it.
On top of shaving my head, I will be donating my hair to the Little Princess Trust so that they can make it into a lovely wig for a child who is having treatment and have lost their hair. I hope that my hair will put a smile on their face and that the money will help fund research,

Last Saturday, after our online MTA class, Kate cut her hair ! We are extremely proud of Kate's bravery and compassion to others in need and we are delighted to announce that to date she has raised nearly £3,000 !!!!! That is an incredible amount !
