Welcome to our brand new ‘STUDIO ASSEMBLY' group… weekly workshops for 19years upwards, tailored for those seeking a career in the performing arts, but also perfect for anyone aiming to improve skills for all styles of Acting, Public Speaking and presenting yourself with confidence in a fun and friendly environment.
We will cover a range of Acting styles and techniques with a strong focus on improvisation and presenting with confidence.
Other classes will include: speech and vocal technique, audition technique work (for both Drama schools and professional contracts) characterisation, script work, acting for stage and screen... and much much MUCH more.
Every workshop will end with an opportunity for any student to perform a speech or song to receive Masterclass style feedback from our tutors and comments from the watching students. This is a great opportunity to practice your skills and prepare for those upcoming auditions.
Cost is deliberately kept at a minimum as we know many of you will be paying for yourselves - £10 per session - paid in blocks of 5. This would be invoiced to you at the start of each half term.
This course will be run by West End Actress, Meg Travers and will take place at the Cheltenham Playhouse.
