Our TRIAL weekend takes place on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September for students aged from RECEPTION - YR 13 !!!

TRIAL CLASSES are split into age groups

INFANT - Reception - Yr 3

JUNIOR - Yr 3 - Yr 6

INTER - Yr 7 - Yr 9

SENIOR - Yr 10 +

We have ACTING and MTA (musical theatre acting) classes available - places are limited so early booking is advised !

Booking onto our FREE TRIAL classes are the perfect opportunity to come to Theatre Studio, meet our Tutors and current students, participate in exciting classes and find out about all the exciting classes, workshops and performances planned for the next academic year.

All classes take place at the Cheltenham Playhouse, Bath Road, Cheltenham, GL53 7HG.  There is a car park opposite the theatre for convenience.

Please go the the farthest RED DOOR on the right, as you look at the building, there you will be greeted by a member of staff, who will be able to answer any further questions or queries you may have.


Please wear clothes suitable to move about in and a snack and a drink, a packed lunch if participating in one of our MTA Saturday classes.  For our drama classes please wear comfortable clothes you can move about in.


After the ‘Trial’ session, students will have the opportunity to sign up for our term time classes.

Tutors will be on hand to answer any queries you may have regarding our class structures and weekly timetable.

Once registered, access will be available to classes, courses, workshops and other activities as well as newsletters, details of class fees and timetables.
