Join us throughout each school term, when we run our exciting Combined Classes, the 'All-in-One' package which guarantees each student receives expert tuition in each of the major disciplines in Theatrical Training.

For one incredible price, your child will receive weekly classes in Drama & Improvisation, Singing, Dance and Voice. When compared to purchasing these workshops individually, this represents a massive discount, but more importantly this guarantees that your child will grow into a well balanced performer, capable of all aspects required in modern theatre.

This class is designed to work with students of Reception and Infant school age. They gain the valuable experience of working with other children, developing their skills through concentration exercises, and using their imaginations, all rolled up into a fun packed afternoon of theatre games, improvisation techniques, singing and dance.

At the end of each school year the class performs in Theatre Studio’s Summer Showcase which is held on the main stage at the Playhouse Theatre.

Structured workshops including Improvisation, Movement, Theatre Games, Singing, Dance and Speech, for those students who wish to take their workshops a little more seriously. Working within a group builds the children's self confidence and enables them to appreciate the importance of being a "team player".

The classes also introduces students to characterisation, movement and gesture, Allowing the students to recognise the importance of developing characters within storytelling, script work, choral speech and free improvisation. Expanding the imagination and encouraging the use of verbal and physical communication.

Classes in singing, where the principles of vocal projection and voice are introduced, dance where the student is acquainted to various styles including modern, jazz, street and ballet, and voice, where the emphasis is on techniques in breathing, articulation and clarity, form the backbone of this incredible package.

At the end of each school year the class performs in Theatre Studio's Summer Showcase which is held on the main stage at the Playhouse Theatre.

Classes are designed primarily year 6 and 7 students, which again is structured in our unique Combined class structure.

In speech classes, the students gain valuable communication techniques incorporating vocal clarity, diction, breath control, sight reading and communication. Drama classes refine development of the imagination, characterisation, script and non-scripted performances. In dance, focus is on core strength, flexibility, rhythm and movement within musical theatre numbers. Finally, singing classes incorporate group singing, harmony, individual pitch and tuning and learning and performing popular musical theatre songs for performance within a group.

As well as these individual sections we also aim to give students personal skills such as developing self-confidence, giving students self confidence and a belief in their work and ideas, to come forward and communicate with strength and conviction.

At the end of each school year the class performs in Theatre Studio's Summer Showcase which is held on the main stage at the Playhouse Theatre.

This class is designed for students from school years 7 to 9. The class continues developing the students knowledge from the earlier classes. Each core class develops and enhances the students knowledge and performance skills. Students are also encouraged to participate in outside performances and Festivals.

The Senior Combined 4 Course, designed for students GCSE through to A' levels, pulls together the core principles of Theatrical Performance gained from earlier classes, and aims to fully develop each student into a well balanced, technically gifted performer capable of solo and group work alike in any given theatrical work.

The core strength of the class continues our unique Combined theme, but now the students will learn in greater depth; the history of theatre, the complex structure of singing, breathing and centering techniques, advanced acting skills and characterisation, leading theatrical figures of the twentieth century, as well as advanced audition and performance techniques.

At the end of each school year the class performs in Theatre Studio's Summer Showcase which is held on the main stage at the Playhouse Theatre.
