This class is designed for students from school years 7 to 9. The class continues developing the students knowledge from the earlier classes. Each core class develops and enhances the students knowledge and performance skills. Students are also encouraged to participate in outside performances and Festivals.

In speech classes, the students continue to develop techniques in vocal clarity, diction, breath control, sight reading and communication. Drama classes refine development of the imagination, characterisation, script and non-scripted performances. In dance, focus remains on core strength, flexibility, rhythm and movement within musical theatre numbers. Finally, singing classes introduce more challenging group singing, harmony and performance of musical theatre songs.

At the end of each school year the class performs in Theatre Studio's Summer Showcase which is held on the main stage at the Playhouse Theatre.
